Originally invented by Franz Sacher in 1832 in Vienna, Austria. For cake lovers....you must try this.

Consists of two layers of not so overly sweet chocolate cake, with a thin layer of apricot jam in the middle. It is not a heavy cake, more like a sponge cake, light cake but covered with dark chocolate icing on top and sides.
